Office of Communications and Community Relations
About
The Office of Communications and Community Relations works in partnership with communications and media colleagues from the seven institutions that comprise The Claremont Colleges to promote a consortium-wide communications strategy. We provide a variety of communications services to the campuses, including faculty, staff, and students. This office provides consortium statements when appropriate and coordinates with individual campuses to respond to media inquiries.
For the Media
From helping reporters meet a looming deadline to assisting with long-lead stories, the staff at the Office of Communications and Community Relations can provide timely help to print, broadcast, and online media. Stories of a consortial nature that impact all seven campuses or just the undergraduate campuses may be directed to this office. Stories or questions that are specific to a campus should be directed to the communications office for the campus of interest.
Media Access to Campus
The campuses of The Claremont Colleges — all buildings, facilities, and grounds—are private property and are subject to restrictions allowable by law. Members of the working news media must contact the appropriate campus communications office for permission, guidance, and escort assignments.

For the TCC Community
For college faculty and staff, please work with your campus communications office regarding your media and communications needs. Most communications departments offer media training and will take the lead in news releases. Communications offices provide style guides for their respective campus, including visual identity for print and digital media. Each campus communications office manages its social media channels.
For the TCCS Community
For staff of The Claremont Colleges Services, please contact the TCCS Office of Communications and Community Relations regarding all media and communications needs. All media inquiries are to be directed to Communications@Claremont.edu.
